    The Dominican Republic is known for its bold and rich coffee flavors. This is due to the Arabica beans that are what the vast majority of the farms produce. These beans, also known as Arabian beans, are known for being full-bodied, rich, and bold. That being said, you will still find softer and more subtle notes of sweet and fruity, as well. The notes generally depend on where the beans are grown.

    The D.R. divides their coffee-growing area into seven regions.
